About the Company

Spitfire Aircraft Company is owned by Russ Harmuth, who has been in aviation for 40 years. Russ apprenticed at United Airlines as a mechanic and also served in Ground Equipment Engineering as a Design Engineering Draftsman. He holds a Private pilot's license as well as A&P and IA mechanic certifications. Russ has been restoring champion quality antique aircraft continually for 26 years.
