11/29/2010 - It has been quite some time since my last update
and I will try to explain what has been happening
around here. First, I took on a job to restore,
recover a Taylorcraft and put it on floats. Not a
problem, I have been doing restorations for over
thirty years. Well, we get into the project and the
customer says that it is costing too much. so, the
whole thing is loaded and returned . I am not
independently wealthy and I need to work to pay
the bills and keep after the prototype. So, then
comes an answer to prayers in the form of a new
builder that wants to build from kits. Now, money
to complete sections of the prototype isn't an
issue. So, things have been happening here at
SAC and to bring everyone up to date, the tail
group, ie: tailplane, elevators, & rudder and
finished, wrapped in plastic and stored, awaiting
final installation. I have allocated enough time
per week to get some progress done and I intend to
keep update pictures coming on a regular basis.
